Yes, January first is technically the start of a new year. But school-aged kids and their parents would strongly disagree. For them, the first day of the new school year is when things really turn over. The anticipation and excitement surrounding it is palpable. 

With a full 360 program, we gave back-to-school season the New Year’s Eve treatment. Our celebratory vibes positioned Lunchables, Capri Sun and Kraft Mac and Cheese as the must-haves for the real start of the year.

Knowing the first day is different all around the country, the clock on our dedicated brand page shifted based on visitor location and average first day in their area.

No matter where they were, visitors felt the first day pressure and were prompted to stock up.
